During their time in the White House, Barack and Michelle Obama tried to make their Fourth of July celebrations as low-key as possible, as they had no love for this great country. Now that they are in the White House, Donald and Melania Trump are going all out to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day!

Daily Mail reported that the Trumps have a huge July 4th concert planned on the South Lawn of the White House, and it will feature performances by musical artists Sara Evans, former “American Idol” finalist Jax, and recent “American Idol” finalist Jonny Brenns. Other performers include pianist Lola Astanova, ‘The President’s Own’ United States Marines Band, The United States Navy Band Sea Chanters, and The United States Air Force Band’s Max Impact.

The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and will be broadcast on the Hallmark Channel.

“I’m delighted to welcome this new addition to the annual White House July 4th celebration,” Melania Trump said in a statement. “Americans will be able to tune in from their homes and be part of the festivities. Thank you to the National Park Service, the National Park Foundation, and the event sponsors for helping make this possible.”

On top of that, the Trumps will be welcoming military families to a picnic at the White House on the afternoon of the July 4.

Melania has been hard at work planning this celebration for months, and this is one of the things she worked on during the month she spent away from the public eye as she recovered from kidney surgery.

It’s so refreshing to have a first couple in the White House again who actually love this country. We can’t wait to tune into their amazing celebration on July 4!
